After I got home from my Florida trip on Saturday, April 10th, I looked at my JetBlue e-mail, and my supervisor had sent me a message letting me know that I could take a leave of absence from JetBlue, but I decided not to do that. So, now I'm FREE!!! I'm going to spend lots of time getting my house in order and getting genealogy done and getting myself healthy again!
On Sunday, April 18th, we went to church and Bob taught his lesson in Priesthood. Since we had been gone for several weeks, I think everyone in church thought we were new to the ward!
Bob and I have started our spring/summer walks!!! I love this nice weather!!!!!
Our son-in-law, Richard had his birthday on Friday, April 16th. We invited him, Angela and the kids, Ian, Anakhan and Azure over for cake and ice cream.
Bob is working from home for a while, and I am busy trying to get caught up with all my blogs (like the ones I just finished). The rest of this week, I'll be trying to get all of my pictures online on our ancestry.com site.
Well, I "loved" our walks, until it got rainy and cold again.
Today, April 22nd, Bob picked Ian up from school so he could spend a little time with us. Bob took him to Dairy Queen on the way home. While he was here, he spent most of his time doing his homework. He was working on his math, and we wanted to help. He is already doing math that we had in junior high and high school. He's quite a math wiz! He loves it like Bob and I both do. He also had to show me more on the Wii games, and was trying to teach me how to do Mario, but I think I'm a hopeless case on these games! He also played "Blazing Angels" on the computer with Bob for a few minutes before Bob took him back home.
Today is April 23rd....TATUM's birthday!!!
(It's also my sister, Celia's birthday!)
I called Tatum early this morning and wished her a happy birthday. She told me that she opened one present this morning. It was a pair of red Converse tennis shoes. She sounded so exited to get them. She called right back on Bob's phone to talk to him and tell him about her new shoes.
I can't believe she is SEVEN YEARS OLD! She is our youngest granddaughter! (We are getting old!) I keep telling these kids to stop growing up, but "they never listen!"
Tatum is the cutest little girl! She is a special little person!
Whenever she can grab Monica's cell phone, she always texts Bob and I. We can always tell when it's her, because she says she loves us. (Monica doesn't do that very much...even though we know she loves us, right???)
On April 26th, I went to Murray High School to see Ian and his classmates put on their Shakespeare plays again. They did a great job again.
I am writing this in July, so I can't remember the last few days of the month, but I'm sure it was boring and I just did washing and cleaning! Bob was in Louisiana working at Argent.
